We will undergo a general forum maintenance. Unwanted post and threads will be deleted to free much needed forum space. Please note that this is a FREE site and we are just riding on a Free server and everything free has it's limitations. Everyone's cooperation is badly needed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Lately the forum is swamped with double, triple even quadruple post. This is because we are already using too much space. There are some members who frequently QUOTE on pictures and images, only to say a few words like " nice hauls" and such. Not only does it shorten our allowed bandwith but it also eats up a lot of forum space and pages. IT'S UNNECESSARY!
There are many NO NONSENSE threads in the forums that eat up a lot of space....LET'S get back and STICK TO TOY TOPICS. I know out of toy topics are a great way to have a bonding with other fellow members but there are other ways to do this like YM or chat boxes ( yes we have one ).
Let's not waste precious forum space.
Because of this, it takes time to post a thread and very eager posters click the submit button several times. ONE CLICK IS ENOUGH.
Let us be responsible posters. There are some sections wherein you can actually delete your doubled or tripled post. Please do your part.
Let's refrain from using ALL CAPS, colored and big fonts, spamming and practice GENERAL NETIQUETTE.
The same goes to the MARKETPLACE section. Please refrain from chatting and excessive bumping. The reply thread is for transactions not to up a buddy's thread or to comment on why he is letting go os his items and such.
Let's help keep the forums user friendly. Please do your part as a member of this community by simply following the simple Rules and Guidelines.

Some reminders:
Multiple post with the same content is considered as flooding and spamming, any member caught doing this will be automatically banned without prior warning.
Please DO NOT quote pictures/images. If anyone wants to comment on a picture and is compelled to refer to the picture, use a link instead.
Also Please limit image size to a maximum of 640 x 480 pixels.
Do not post extremely large images (both in dimension and in file size). Remember, some members are still on dial-up and low resolution. Let's give them the courtesy of not having to wait forever just to see an image.

Q: What is PTK Premium Membership?
A: Premium Membership is designed for PTK users who regularly trades and considers the site a place of business. It is founded on the concept of trust-building and establishing oneself as a reputable trader. A premium member is someone who has freely tendered their personal data to be validated and screened by the PTK Administrator and staff.
Q: What is the difference between Premium Membership and Regular membership?
A: Being VERIFIED trader is a plus. Regular members can access the Premium Section, only difference is they cannot post items for sale and for auctions in the Premium Section. They can only reply and communicate but they cannot make a specific for sale thread. Basically the Premium section is for sellers who wish to have their own thread which they can delete, edit and bump anytime at ease.
For example, you have tons of items to sell and have a hard time keeping track of the items because they are posted in different sections in the regular marketplace, this is where the Premium Section comes in.
Q: Establishing trust is already a big plus, but are there other benefits we would have aside this?
A: Yes. As a premium member, you would also enjoy certain features/trading tools that would aid you in your transactions, such as:
1. The Premium Member tag on the username, that identifies premium from regular members;
2. The exclusive section for Premium Member wherein :
- you can announce, edit, delete, bump his post anytime at ease *
- the contact information has been verified by the PTK
3. Larger message inbox size ( Store up to 1,000 messages );
4. PTK Premium Member Identification Card
This is great for those who have lots of items to sell or trade and has a hard time with keeping track of the multiple threads. You can just consolidate all your items in your exclusive own thread.
Q: What are the qualifications to apply for Premium Membership?
A: Applicants must :
1. Be a registered member of PTK;
2. Of legal age; and
3. Does not have any unresolved transaction issues conducted in PTK with other sellers or buyers.
Q: What are the Requirements for Premium Membership?
A: Applicants must present the following:
1. APPLICATION FORM, completed and signed.
2. IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT, a Photocopy of your ID Card and present the ORIGINAL copy to validate its authenticity.( e.g., PTK Premium Member ID, School ID, Driver s License, Passport, PRC ID, NBI Clearance, Police Clearance, Employment ID, Postal ID, SSS ID, GSIS ID, Senior Citizen Card, Voter s ID, TIN Card ). Identification documents must bear the applicant s photos and signature.
3. APPLICATION FEE ( P500.00 )
Q: Privacy Policy?
A: We recognize that privacy is important. All submitted information will be for filing purposes only and will not be used and disclosed unless needed*. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
*We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of PTK Rules and Guidelines, or as otherwise required by law.
Q: Can we submit photocopies of the documents?
A: YES. But you have to bring and present the ORIGINAL copy to validate its authenticity.
Q: How long is the validity of Premium Membership?
A: One time payment only.
Q: Can I send a representative to submit my application?
A: NO. the applicant must personally submit the requirements.
Q: How long is the process to validate an applications and our premium membership status be activated?
A: Within Seven (7) days. Once your application is approved your membership status will be upgraded to Premium Member and your PTK Premium Member ID card will be mailed to the address you specified in your Application Form. In any event that your premium membership status has not been activated or have not received your ID within 30 days from the date on which you applied, kindly file a support ticket using the Contact Us page.
Q: Will all applications be approved?
A: No. PTK reserves the right to accept, decline, approve or disapprove applications based on the completeness and authenticity of pertinent documents an applicant submits and merits of their membership at PTK
Q: What are the grounds for disapproval?
A: Considered to be grounds for disapproval and revocation of premium membership registration are:
1. Incomplete and fraudulent data in Application;
2. Any unresolved transaction issues conducted in PTK with other sellers/buyers;
3. Repeated violation of PTK Rules and Guidelines;
4. Use of multiple accounts ( nicks/usernames ). ( Note: Members who may have created alternicks at the time of their applications may inform PTK using the Contact Us page ).
5. Residence out of the covered area. Registration is limited to Metro Manila and nearby provinces only.
Q: What will happen to disapproved applications?
A: Applicants will be notified in writing through snail mail, Private Messaging or e-mail.
Q: I want to renew my Premium Membership, do I need to apply again?
A: No more. One time payment only.
Q: Where do proceeds go?
A: It's no joke maintaining a site/forum, we have to pay for a domain name. We have to accumulate funds to survive. These funds are used for special events and activities. We give away shirts for volunteers, prizes for raffles and contests and souvenirs on events.
